Men’s Referral Service

24/7 free, confidential support for men using violence, their family, friends, and professionals (1300 766 491). Provided by No to Violence, they are also aware of services, supports and accomodation options for men.

24/7 free phone counselling, text support (0477 131 144) or web chats (www.lifeline.org.au)

13 YARN (13 92 76)

24/7 free, confidential support to talk with an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Crisis Supporter. They state they are there for “anyone feeling worried or no good” and will “take time to listen. No shame, no judgment, safe place to yarn.”

DV Alert

Domestic and Family Violence Response Training (DV-alert) is designed to build capacity in frontline workers within universal services for whom family violence is not a core  function of their role.  There are a variety of options to choose from including eLearning  courses, face-to-face, awareness sessions, 1-day trainings, 2-day trainings, and virtual trainings.
